The Dachstein area is renowned for it’s via ferrata routes. I am definitely not an expert on them but this summer started doing a few routes and will document them for you here.

Rating: B with short sections of C

Highlights: Phenomenal views, easy access, short distance

Rating: C with short sections of D (one is optional)

Highlights: Phenomenal views, mixed route, peak ascent

Elevation gain: 300 m

Rating: D

Highlights: Easy access, part of a longer route
