65 cm of snow forecast on our mountains over 3 days
The forecast predicted 65 cm of snow on Dachstein over Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. It is definitely snowing in Annaberg today! Because of this I changed the slideshow from summer to winter pictures. Have your thoughts turned to winter already?

Snow is falling!
Heavy snow has been falling all night and through today.
Last minute deal – start your ski season early!
We are offering a last minute deal for rentals the period between December 6th and the 24th for 450 EUR/week! Some ski hills in the area have already opened and the mountains have some snow on them so its a great time to get a jump on the ski season and take advantage of early season pricing.

Ski Hill – Dachstein West Opening Saturday, November 27th
The Dachstein West ski area expects to be open Saturday, November 27th and Sunday, November 28th and then the regular season is to start December 4th and run to April 3rd, 2011. Read more on their website here.

Managed to get out on a bike ride up the mountain just behind our house and got some pictures up the valley both ways. If this snow sticks around it should be a great ski season!
